Hi there! Welcome to my 100 day workout&walking challenge. Today is day 69 and this week you are a guest on my walking journey. I really enjoyed it and I hope you will too. Ready for witnessing the lovely images I captured during my journey? I am so ready and if you are too then let's begin! Daily&Weekly steps I takeThe images that you see above show this week's number of steps. For the record, I don't take a screenshot of the number of steps I take every day. I do it when I feel like it and, of course, when I take more than twenty thousand steps. Thanks to the weekly report of the app, you can see my percentile among my age group in the last image. At the moment, my aim is to break my personal best record in the shortest time. I cannot be humble at this point, and I should give credit to myself for such commitment, and I am really proud of myself. Motivated much? Let's move (I mean literally, you can move) to the fun part! Beautiful SkyI have always been fascinated by the sublimity of the sky. When I started my walking journey, I realized that I had never paid close attention to the beauty of nature. Paying close attention to one's environment doesn't necessarily mean that one has to capture every object around them because I already stored them in my mind. Yet, such realization gave me the sense of appreciation that I used to have rarely, and I have decided that not only my mind but also my phone needs this beauty as I also needed some nice stuff for my blog, right? :) Joking aside, this spectacular view is one of the factors on my walking motivation list. Getting to see Venus and how such a marvelous combination of colors adorns our beautiful sky every day makes me realize one more time how lucky we, in fact, are! Anyway, if you leave it to me, I can praise this beauty for hours. Let's move on to the other beauties I encountered in this week's walking journey. Cutipie cats (sometimes weird animals-insects)&other beauties I bumped intoI have never thought that just one simple image would mean a lot to me and give me a reason to be happy and motivated. Also, I feel so lucky that I started the week with this view, so I did nothing but took a very tiny break from my walking session to immortalize the moment. Hence, this beauty! I have no idea what tree species this amazing one belongs to, but it reminds me of the song Cherry Blossom Girl. To get to the next photo, say hi to the little one on the right, that looks like a literal snowball. Yes, you read it correctly. Its name is Snowball because it looked like it to me at a distance, so I decided to call it Snowball or kartopu in Turkish :) I was almost halfway through my walking and saw this one sitting on the carpet right in front of dorm 69. I thought it might get scared if I got closer, so I took its photo from a bit far, and I zoomed my camera in as much as possible. Hence, the photo quality. Sorry about that. I hope we both run into each other on my next walk. Bonus of the blog :) Not sure if you were expecting something different, but sorry, not sorry; I am the bonus of this week's sub-blog post. This photo is from yesterday, by the way. I don't usually like to pose like this because I feel shy for no reason:) I usually prefer selfies, but I couldn't resist when I saw such an amazing scene behind me. This is me taking a selfie and figuring out how to post photos on the Bereal app after my walking session ends. P.S. The app is not the sponsor of my blog, lol. I am not quite there yet, but I will someday, hopefully; so, fingers crossed! I wish you all a lovely Sunday that motivates you to move and go out to walk for at least 15 minutes. Because you know what? My journey started with 15 min and grew into one 1.5 hours and 69 days. Not only do your daily habits change, but your perspective and personality do. Just saying :) See you soon!

AboutThis is where I blog about my walking journey and the photos I take while walking on campus (sometimes outside of campus too). I am a passionate walker who takes at least ten thousand steps daily. At times (or even more often), I even walk up to twenty thousand to thirty thousand steps. I started my walking journey at the end of February with little steps setting 100 day challenge. I then turned this into big steps and also into my lifestyle. ArchivesCategories |
